An Investment in Tallahassee’s Future

The Sharing Tree has always embodied the values of creativity, community, and conservation. We believe creative play, hands-on creating, and art-making promote the skills that our future leaders need: creativity, innovative thinking, and collaborative problem-solving. As Tallahassee develops its innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem there is no better investment than in our youngest citizens, our future innovators.

The Sharing Tree recently signed a lease in midtown and plans to debut a new Creative Play Lab by June 1st, 2019. This lofty goal is only possible with the support of our community. The Sharing Tree is launching a Founding 50 Campaign with a goal of raising $50,000 through a generous gift of $1,000 from 50 individuals, families, businesses, and foundations. Funds raised through the Founding 50 Campaign will target the initial build out of our new space, exhibit design and construction, and community outreach.

We invite you to demonstrate your passion for our mission and vision by becoming a Founding 50 supporter. Joining the Founding 50 is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will set your donation apart from other supporters and provide you with a lifetime of recognition within The Sharing Tree.

As a Founding 50 member, you will be recognized with a permanent art installation featuring your name or the name of your organization in the entrance of our facility. In addition, there will be an interactive exhibit devoted to the Founding 50 Members that celebrates, in a tangible way, your active role in and generous support of The Sharing Tree in our new creative venture. Finally, we will be hosting a Founding 50 Reception before the grand opening to celebrate your role in building this community centerpiece.

If you would like to take this opportunity to become one of the Founding 50, you can use this online form to submit your donation or you can mail a check addressed to The Sharing Tree, 218 E. 3rd Ave, Tallahassee, FL 32303. For additional information please contact our Executive Director Carly Sinnadurai at or (850) 264-4035.

Thank you for your consideration and continued investment in our community! Together we can achieve our mission “to inspire creativity, innovative thinking and collaborative problem solving, while nurturing children, families, communities and the environment.”
